Band-Lok is a two paste dual-cure adhesive intended for use as a band cement. Product Features: Two Paste System: No messy Powder-Liquid System. Consistent mix viscosity. No Unpleasant Aftertaste: Unlike other Glass Ionomer cements, Band-Lok does not have an aftertaste or odour. Superior Adhesion/Reduced Washout: Band-Lok is a unique combination of Resin and Glass Ionomer technology. Better adhesion to enamel and band surfaces is achieved, reducing washout and preventing loose bands. Extended Working Time: Four minute working time at room temperature. To extend the working time of Band-Lok to 7 minutes, mix on a paper covered frozen slab. Dual Curable: Band-Lok is a Dual Cure cement. It can be used with or without a dental curing light. When a band is placed and flash is cleaned, a 10 second light activation provides full protection from moisture. A 40 second light activation completely cures the cement. Without light activation, a complete set is achieved in 10 minutes. Fluoride Compomer: Available in Tooth Color or High Visibility Blue Shade
