Polyethylene spacer wafer for double impression techniques. Separation wafers, consisting of 1 mm thick polyethylene foam, are intended to create space in a first GC EXA'lence or GC Exaflex Putty impression to be used later as a custom tray. The even space of 1 mm throughout guarantees an equal distribution of the wash impression material. This results in full advantage being taken of the elasticity of the impression material, allowing easy removal of the final impression with no permanent deformation. The separation wafers are suitable for both upper and lower arch impressions.
