Gelatamp forte is a high-absorbency gelatin sponge of animal origin designed for rapid and effective bleeding control. It is a slim white sponge with only 4 mm in thickness. Due to its special sponge structure, it absorbs quickly: up to 60x its own weight in the first minute. Gelatamp forte induces haemostasis even after treatment with anticoagulant medications. Gelatamp forte is absorbed within 3-4 weeks Indications:- Gelatamp forte is a resorbable haemostatic sponge made to facilitate stopping bleeding. When used as a haemostat the sponge improves the visibility of the affected surgical site.
