The family business was founded in 1886 in Harrogate, one of the nicest towns in Yorkshire (so they say!! They are still family owned today and we work hard to stay true to their love of fairness, flavour and quality. The company works extremely hard to build long-lasting relationships with the people who grow their tea. They pay sustainable prices and a premium for quality, they regularly visit the farms and co-operatives they buy from and invest in their communities and their environment to help ensure both are thriving and resilient.
