The Prichard elevator can be used universally and consists of a raspatory and a retractor. The areas of application range from periodontal surgery to osteotomy and root tip resection. The round, sharp end is used to separate the papilla or flap. The retractor is blunt and is used to retract flaps in periodontal treatment, while the highly-polished surface acts as a dental mirror elevator. The easy-to-clean grooves in the handle design ensure a secure grip and a maximum transfer of force. The matt handle surface reduces irritating light reflections.
